Entertaiment is an entertaining or titillating experience. It can be as small as a choice of private entertainment from the now enormous variety of pre-recorded products; as large as an entire city or nation preparing for or attending a festival, celebration or satire. Although the term is usually associated with amusement, many forms of entertainment have a serious purpose or context. Entertainment can be categorized as: movies and television; music, such as listening to recorded or live performances; reading novels or short stories; playing sports or games; and experiencing visual art.
